Of all of the movies that I have watched from this list, I would say that Ladykillers was on the crappy side. I have Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, and Blood Simple at home. When I finally get some extra time, I have some good movies to watch.
What are some other great writers/directors that you like? I know Kubrik was mentioned in episode 10. Some of his stuff is out there. I don't really know any flops he directed. I haven't seen any of his old stuff. My absolute favorite is Dr. Strangelove. It's timeless. What a great movie.
How about Tarantino? The Kill Bill's were good. Jackie Brown was good. From Dusk til Dawn--more like from Dusk to Yawn. I liked it the first time.
