Sunday night football is getting out of hand. So my mind started wandering with random stupid questions that always come up. I decided to share one of the dumb things that I think of when I'm bored, which is all of the time these days.
Yesterday, I was watching college football pretty much all day. I fell asleep during one of the 125 games I was watching. When I woke up, there was a commercial for Charmin toilet paper. You know the one with the cartoon bears. Well, it got me thinking, why are toilet paper squares so small? How many people use just one square? Ever? I would have to go out on a limb and say that a woman would have to use a minimum of two squares after a pee.
So, why couldn't the toilet paper companies start making rectangles instead of perforated squares? Start perforating them twice as long. Personally, I use four squares and fold them. Some people just spin the roll like the wheel on The Price is Right. So it shouldn't really matter to those people how big the "squares" are.
In the very long run, I would think that extending the length of squares would save money by not running the perforation machine so often. Therefore, the savings would be passed on to the consumers, or poopers. That means everyone would save some money when they poop if toilet paper manufacturers would stop making little squares.
The end.
